5 Week Program
Generation Rainbow Collective
A partnership with the Stratford Public Library, 107.1 CJCS, Stratford Times and Stratford Pride Community Centre featuring a different 2SLGBTQIA+ forward work each and every month.
Ongoing
Gender and Sexuality Alliances (GSAs) 3-Module Workshop
This three-module workshop is offered to GSAs across the Avon-Maitland District School Board as a means to offer support in partnership with the Board and the school’s leadership team to in-school youth in their pursuit of building an inclusive school environment that is safe, representative and joyful for 2SLGBTQIA+ youth and allies.
The three hands-on modules offered are:
GSA 101 Fundamentals: Exploring advocacy, representation and creating community broadly
GSA 102 Creating Community: Exploring how to create a sense of community for those that identify as 2SLGBTQIA+ in partnership with school leadership team through a grassroots approach
GSA 103 Individuals: Digs more deeply into the individual support that is often required of those in a GSA and works in partnership with the school’s leadership team to explore concepts of confidentiality, navigating courageous conversations, Safe boundaries and escalations.
