Tuesday February 6th 5:30-9:30pm Pasta and Picasso @SPCC


A free 2SLGBTQIA+ youth lead event at the SPCC for queer youth and allies 10-15 years old where we will eat pasta (a huge thanks to Fellini's!) and create art together. Food, drinks, canvasses and other art supplies will be provided (if you have a favourite brush or hue, feel free to bring it with you!). At the end of the night, participants will have the opportunity to keep their masterpieces or donate them in the SPCC  and hang them in an new in-centre gallery.

Tuesday February 13th 5:30-9:30pm Love Pizza/Love Simon @ The Little Prince Cine-lounge

A free 2SLGBTQIA+ youth lead event at the SPCC targeting queer youth and allies 10-15 years old where we will eat cheese or pepperoni pizza (a huge thanks to Dominos!) and enjoy the 2SLGBTQIA+ film Love Simon at The Little Prince Cine-lounge (Thank you so much, The Little Prince!)

Tuesday February 20th 5:30-9:30pm Thai and Teamwork @ SPCC

A free 2SLGBTQIA+ youth lead event at the SPCC targeting queer youth and allies 10-15 years old where we will eat Thai food (potential allergy alert) and work through Break-in Bags (Thanks to Stratford Public Library for those!). Food and drinks will be provided.

Tuesday February 27th 5:30-9:30pm Sandwiches and Showbiz @SPCC

A free 2SLGBTQIA+ youth lead event at the SPCC targeting queer youth and allies 10-15 years old where we will eat sandwiches (a huge thanks to Sirkel) and do improv together. Food and drinks will be provided.

Tuesday March 5th 5:30-9:30pm McDnD Night @SPCC

A free 2SLGBTQIA+ youth lead event at the SPCC targeting queer youth and allies 10-15 years old where we will eat McDonald's and doDungeons and Dragons (A thanks to our Dungeon Masters Eric Ball and Brock Wreford from the Stratford Public Library) Food and drinks will be provided.

Please Note:

  • We ask that participants come dressed appropriately and with an eagerness to participate in each evening's activities. If participants feel the activity involves risk or that they may need accommodation, please include that in the space provided on the registration form.

  • Schedule subject to change depending on weather and resource availability. Any changes will be communicated via email at the earliest opportunity.

  • Out of respect for the different people are in their 2SLGBTQIA+ journey and to encourage maximum engagement, we ask for all devices to be tucked away and no photos/recording of participants be taken at the events.

  • With each meal comes a risk of allergy. Please ensure that you identify any risks in the space provided on the registration form and note them for the SPCC staff to work on a solution.

  • We ask that any pick-up and drop off for all events held at the SPCC occur using the Erie Street lot (which has a quick walk-thru CIBC and Monteith Ritsma Phillips).
